Made for Woolerina at Waverley Mills in Tasmania, this blanket has been made with love, to be loved by you and your family, for generations to come.
Waste has always bothered us at Woolerina and over the past 10 years we have carefully collected all the off-cuts from our cutting room, while we worked on finding a way for this waste to be used. There have been many ideas and many ‘road blocks’ however we are thrilled to be able to finally bring these off-cuts to life through this partnership with Australia’s oldest working textile mill, Waverley Mills.
Made from 100% Australian wool, 30% Woolerina fabric off-cuts have been blended with 70% virgin wool fibre to create a new yarn, designed specifically for this collaboration.
This limited collection of 128 blankets was woven at Waverley Mills. Each blanket is entirely unique as a result of the off-cuts used which have been collected from many season's colour palettes. This collection features navy marle as the base colour, with contrasting vertical stripes in blends of pinks and greens running through the warp and a larger horizontal stripe of either pink or green in the weft with fringing on the long ends. You can choose your horizontal stripe colour at the checkout.
Each throw measures approximately 200cm x 160cm and weighs approximately 1.2kg.

Cool hand wash using a wool approved detergent. Dry flat in shade, do not tumble dry. May be dry cleaned (P).
